Method
- Firstly you need to take two small sections from behind the ear and keep them out until later.
- With the rest of the hair, brush it back into a low ponytail at the nape of the neck and tie off with a hairband.
- Roll the ponytail up towards the head and pin into place. This now creates the chignon.
- Using bun pins, spread the chignon out until you've created a lovely rounded shape. Then use these pins to keep the shape in place.
- Next take the two side pieces you left out, twist them and pin them into the chignon.
- Lastly spray some hairspray onto your hands and stroke it over the chignon. This will keep the stray hairs down.
